Hello, I’m Bruce Weber, chief cook and bottle washer here at Northwest Dog Shots. Oh, and I take pictures every now and then.
I’m a Seattle native with deep family ties to the Pacific Northwest. My earliest memories are of our family Cocker Spaniel, Bouncy. She was my protector and friend. Since then there have been very few periods in my life where I’ve not had a four-legged family member.
When I was 10 years old, my brother gave me my first interchangeable lens camera, and I have been making photographs ever since. In the old days, I spent hours in the darkroom working with chemicals and enlargers to refine the pictures my camera captured. Now, I spend nearly as much time in front of a “digital darkroom” to create the images.
My passion for animals, my creative nature, and my strong belief that you get back what you give have led me to start Northwest Dog Shots. I feel blessed to be able to do what I love. And feel it’s important to volunteer my time and resources to give back to the community.
